The Westin Immunogenicity Seminar Daejeon is scheduled on the 22nd of October.
Last year’s speakers included: Dr. Sung-Joo Lee (State of Biotechnology in S. Korea), Head of Research, Sanofi Asia Pacific R&D, Dr. Katy Park (Cancer Vaccines), Korea University College of Medicine, and Dr. Annie De Groot, CEO/CSO, EpiVax and Director and Professor, University of Rhode Island Institute for Immunology and Informatics.
The purpose of this seminar is to bridge the gap between recent academic research on in silico immunogenicity screening tools, and in vitro validation of T effectors, Tregs, Tregitopes and protein drug development (immunogenicity, deimmunization and tolerance induction). The importance of “immune camouflage” to vaccines such as the under-performing H7N9 avian influenza vaccine will also be presented and discussed.
