On Saturday, June 1st, 2019, members of the EpiVax team volunteered at this month’s shore cleanup with Save the Bay – Narragansett Bay. The event took place at the historical Fort Wetherill State Park in Jamestown, Rhode Island.
EpiVax was joined by their good friends at Envision Technology Advisors and CORE Diving. Together, the group of 43 volunteers collected 486 lbs of trash from the shore and the surrounding park – including a 100-lb large piece of rusty metal that one team remarkably hauled from the beach.
We had a great time at this event, and we look forward to future volunteering opportunities! Photos from the event can be found below.
