Even more Fearless in 2025
2024 was a year of transformation and momentum for us—a real steppingstone to EpiVax 2.0. We are grateful to our new CEO, Rich-Henry Schabowsky, for creating a work environment where innovation moves at a human pace. Because together, we thrive. Fearless science and bold thinking will allow us to pursue our mission of improving health everywhere.
Speaking of which, we have 12 new EpiVaxers this year! Here’s my latest picture of the amazing Epi-Team, moving into 2025 together.
Pause for a Moment
Even if ‘Never stop moving’ is one of my mottos – sometimes it’s a good idea to pause and consider how we can have a positive impact on the world around us. Our goal is to contribute to the field (in case you haven’t noticed!) and we are even prouder of our partnerships with local and global nonprofits.
This week, Epi-Team members participated in a toy drive and a coat drive for Clínica Esperanza/Hope Clinic patients. The clinic provides free healthcare to Rhode Island’s uninsured population. Also this week, GAIA Vaccine Foundation, another great non-profit that we support, is kicking off a campaign to increase cervical cancer prevention and detection in West Africa.
And we ramped up our client and employee-driven VaxGivesBack matching donation drive initiative this year, contributing $40,000 to causes in our neighborhood and across the globe. This year, YOU and VaxGivesBack supported 25 organizations – supporting AIDS and Cancer patients and addressing food insecurity (World Central Kitchen), homelessness in the USA, medical support for refugees (Doctors without Borders), animal welfare (locally, nationally and in Ukraine) and many more. Thank you for your contributions (and there is still time to donate!)
