Talking out loud to myself (and about 7000 friends)

It’s the time of year for gratitude

As we approach the season of gratitude, I would like to THANK YOU, our colleagues in the immunogenicity space, who are “Science Forward“. Sharing ideas and methods across institutions will contribute to better solutions for all of our patients (including our mothers, brothers, sisters and cousins, and the rest of the human family) afflicted by cancer or by autoimmune disease or by human pathogens. We’re in this together to improve health everywhere.

(BTW, EpiVaxers, “improving human health” is also why I … throw out the donuts! – Be generous with healthy donations, and take care of your health too!)

But back to the theme – Let’s get generous! Every year, EpiVax matches your donations to your favorite charity. This year is even-more-special! we’re putting a DOUBLE match out there for donations before Dec 31. Annie (me) and EpiVax will match YOUR charity donation up to a max of $500 per donor. Please send us (via our admin) a receipt for your donation here! Yes, it’s crazy but it’s true!

Wondering where to give? Try Clinica Esperanza/Hope Clinic, a free clinic for the uninsured – serving the local immigrant population in Providence (now going on 15 years!) Or, how about fighting Monkeypox, HIV, and HPV in West Africa? Check out GAIA Vaccine Foundation! (20 years!). We’re looking forward to matching your donations!

And we thank our grant funders! We’re grateful to the CDC for funding research on JanusMatrix for the past year, and we thank FDA for funding research on the PANDA Approach to immunogenicity risk assessment of generic peptide drugs over 3 contracts (so far!)See our publications on PANDA here and here.

Since We Have Your Attention

Consider this … Adopt a Turkey!
Consider donating to a charity instead of sacrificing a bird this year. You could save a life and save the planet too. Here’s a link to more information: https://www.farmsanctuary.org/news-stories/five-reasons-leave-turkeys-off-plate/

This is the “Thinking out Loud” Newsletter! Annie here – I write it with some help from Elena Iemma!  Thank you for reading! We hope to provide information that will feed your brain and news that will lift your spirits. We’d love to have your feedback (See survey).  Update on the broken arm – healing!  I’ll be back on the bike soon!

Meanwhile…Be Well! Stay Happy! Never stop moving!
