The second Artificial Intelligence / Human Intelligence Workshop will be held on June 5 and 6th at the South Street Landing Conference Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

Purpose: This event aims to facilitate discussions and knowledge sharing among users of bioinformatics and immunoinformatics tools. In a nutshell, how is and will AI and ML impact the field of translational medicine – whether AI and HI are involved in the development of new drugs, vaccines, and diagnostics, or they are used to interpret the impact of non-chemical biomedicines (excluding small molecules) on patients.

Biomedicines and diagnostics involve the use of proteins and peptides (‘large molecules’) or their precursors (mRNA, DNA) to treat human and animal diseases. Because of the nature of the substance used in the product, immune responses are engaged, and both immunogenicity and tolerance may have an impact on the outcomes. Therefore, during this symposium, speakers will also describe tools used for the exploration of immune responses and provide case studies featuring applications to biologic drugs and vaccines, and assessment of (biologic and peptide) drug safety and immunogenicity.

Who should attend: The event is tailored for professionals and researchers utilizing bioinformatics and immunoinformatics tools, particularly those involved in studying infectious diseases, immune responses, vaccine development, and those who are involved in evaluating and regulating drug safety. Due to the size of the conference and the opportunity for participants to share their work in Q&A sessions, as well as during poster presentation sessions, participants will have the opportunity to delve into emerging trends and foster collaborations in the rapidly evolving fields of immunoinformatics, computational vaccinology, and biologics immuno-engineering.

Do you have a poster to present? Please submit a 300-word abstract here.
