January Chill

Riley Nolan and I just returned from a very chilly Chicago where we attended the Conference of Research Workers in Animal Disease (CRWAD). I spoke about the “EpiCC” tool, that we use to compare vaccines against emergent strains of viruses. It was great to see our friends at CRWAD! Thank you for attending my presentation! For a taste of true Chicago, try Shaw’s Crab House in the deepest depths of River North.

February / March Meetups!

Women in Biotech (New York City)
A yearly meetup of inspiring female leaders in the biotech industry near Chelsea and Soho (for a dose of Art). Write me if you are interested in attending or speaking at this event. Restaurants? Too many great ones! Send me YOUR favorite restaurant in NYC, I want to try it!

And … we can’t wait for BIO Europe Spring (March 18-20)! Sarah Moniz and I are looking forward to seeing our Biz Dev friends in the amazing city of Barcelona. BCN is food-forward! May: SF Fog and Boston Tides

AAPS NBC (San Francisco CA, May 13-16) I haven’t been to SF in ages! Send me restaurant suggestions! I love Omakase and Mediterranean! And find the Epi-team at our booth or book a meeting with us in the app! The team is working hard on some great posters to share with you.

TIDES US (Boston, MA, May 14-17) Say hi to Aimee Mattei and Sandra Lelias! You’ll be in Back Bay, so check out Uni (a great place to sneak away for some sushi and sake) but don’t forget to visit the ICA or the MFA museums in Boston.

Treg-Directed Therapies Summit (Boston MA, May 21-23) I’ll be speaking on Day 1 at 11:30 am, don’t miss Unlock Treg Epitopes: A unifying mechanism for modulating the Immune Response. EpiVaxer and tolerance expert Amy Rosenberg will also be there, presenting Failure of Singular Approaches to Induce Tolerance at 4:00 pm on May 23rd, another can’t-miss talk!

⭐ Computational Vaccinology Workshop at the ISV Congress (Oct. 21-23) We are organizing a workshop in collaboration with the International Society of Vaccines (ISV) this year. Keep an eye out for updates. I’m focusing on visiting key BTS sites… but restaurant suggestions are welcome!
